Happy Holidays from New England Capital

December 05, 2024

All of us at New England Capital would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very warm holiday season and a very healthy, safe and prosperous New Year. It is one of our greatest pleasures to exchange greetings and thank those whose friendship and goodwill are so highly valued.

I can’t believe it, but it’s been over 40 years since I wrote my first Holiday Newsletter to you! You would think I would have run out of things to say by now!  I still have plenty of gas in the tank and plan to be around until Chris Lee changes the office locks on me. Even then, I can work from Florida! I get energized by serving you, helping you achieve your goals and attain financial freedom.

While the Holiday Letter is still my domain, I was delighted when Chris Lee asked if he could co-write our quarterly newsletter 17 years ago. He is such a skillful financial planner, and an industry thought leader. Several years ago, I realized that we have others in the office who also have valuable knowledge to share with you, so more team members now contribute. The quarterly newsletter format has changed in this digital, social media age. Now we use emails and our website to share with you our video blog twice per month, and it comes from these other similarly talented people with a wider variety of specialized skills. To paraphrase Neale Donald Walsch, my goal as a leader is not to have the most followers but to create the most leaders. A true teacher is not the one with the most knowledge, but one who causes the most others to have knowledge.

I’m thrilled to have such a wonderful and talented group of people to work with every day.  I would be truly remiss if I didn’t use this forum to express my deepest gratitude for the people who signed the bottom of this letter. To the New England Capital Team, I thank you for all you do for me, which I know is a lot!! I also thank you for all you do for our clients whom you so diligently and so thoughtfully serve. Your dedication and commitment to our common values and goals allows us to strive for excellence in all we do. Your talent and hard work shine so brightly on me. It is my pleasure to reflect that back on you.

Happy Holidays from all of us at New England Capital
